Artist Spotlight: Lisa Bradley

This month we’re kicking off our “Artist Spotlight” series. Each month we will sit down with a local ceramic artist in Savannah just to discuss “clay things.” Our goal is to find out how and why they create and share that with our Community. For the month of November, we feature ceramic artist Lisa Bradley, the owner of Savannah’s Clay Spot. ​Before diving into the questions we had prepared for her, let’s get a little bit of Lisa’s background.

Lisa's first and only clay class was in the 5th grade. She remembers the clay artist came to her school to offer an after-school program. Lisa loved working with clay, and it left a big impression on her, but she never got to use clay again until college.

​Lisa attended Kent State University in Ohio for undergrad, and she started off as an Art Education major, because she loves the idea of sharing knowledge and helping others.
