SIP: A CERAMIC CUP SHOW

SIP: A Ceramic Cup Show is an annual exhibition featuring over 180 functional ceramic mugs, yunomi, pour-overs and more from clay artists from Savannah and across the country. The show has become the signature exhibition for our group. Proceeds from the exhibition benefit each individual artist, and a percentage of all cup sales is be donated to the Emmaus House in Savannah to help provide nourishment for the hungry.

SAVANNAH CLAY

This organization started with the efforts of seven Savannah artists who began exhibiting an all-ceramics show in 2011. The group includes nationally recognized artists who come from various backgrounds and exhibited together under the title of “Savannah Clay.” The goal of the exhibition was to bring awareness to the high quality ceramic work being made locally and to introduce the community to the wide range of possibilities of clay—from functional, to figurative, to abstract sculptural installation. Further exhibitions were  held in 2015 and 2019 and hopefully again in the future.
